In collaboration with Sound Transit, CRĒO has design engineered, fabricated, and installed numerous elements across various light rail stations in the Puget Sound region of Western Washington.
At Wilburton Station in Bellevue, WA, CRĒO constructed a 40-foot illuminated tower that changes from a mirrored face to shifting colors throughout the evening and into the night. Additionally, the station features a trail bridge that spans one of the busiest city streets on the Eastside. This bridge connects the emerging 42-mile Eastrail to Sound Transit’s Wilburton Station and honors the legacy of the Bellevue Japanese-American farming community with a 117-foot-long metal graphic panel system.
Inside Bellevue Downtown Station, a stunning illuminated circular lightbox structure called “Cyclorama” hangs from the ceiling at the main entrance. At Sound Transit’s Downtown Federal Way Station, CRĒO fabricated a massive mural by artist Christine Nguyen. The 226-foot-long and 26-foot-tall mural was printed using dye sublimation onto hundreds of aluminum channels and installed on the west side of the parking garage.
