JOLIET MALL
First of its Kind Digital Display
The “Digital Tree” is the first of its kind custom digital display adorning a 25-foot tall fichus tree in the center court of Louis Joliet Mall. The tree features twenty-six (26) suspended LCD screens showcasing various community news, mall events, store offers and selfies taken by patrons utilizing a photo booth located near the tree.
CRĒO Industrial Arts took on the technical and artistic challenge this project presented, as well as an extremely aggressive timeline. In the end, the project was executed to much acclaim. The Mayor of Joliet, Tom Giarrante, was the first to take a selfie that was displayed on the tree’s LCD panels..
